Wesley Shiau
Principal
Wesley Shiau serves as a Principal at Highland Street Capital and is responsible for the firm's strategic direction and for all acquisition, capital formation, and asset management activities. He has nearly 10 years of experience in real estate private equity and development and has closed over $5.0 billion of commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes investments in residential, mixed-use, office, and industrial assets across the risk spectrum and capital stack on behalf of institutional investors.

Prior to Highland Street, Wesley served as a key member of the investment teams at Innovo Property Group, a New York City focused real estate investment and development company founded by a former Partner of The Carlyle Group ($5.0 billion AUM), J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Real Estate Americas, the private U.S. real estate investment platform of J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives ($74.0 billion AUM), and Madison International Realty, a global real estate private equity firm ($30.0 billion AUM). Wesley serves on the Next Generation Board, Benefits Committee and is an active investor in TEAK Fellowship. He is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council in New York City and serves on the Young Professional Advisory Committee for the annual Cornell Real Estate Conference.

Wesley graduated from The Hotel School at Cornell University with a concentration in Finance, Accounting and Real Estate.
